Mercury Retrograde Dates for 2007 

February 14, 2007 - March 8, 2007  Mercury begins its retrograde period at 10° Pisces
and continues its backward motion to 25° Aquarius when it goes direct on the 8th of
March 2007.
 
 June 15, 2007 to July 10 
Mercury begins this retrograde period at 11° Cancer on Friday June 15th and continues
its’ retrograde motion until Tuesday July 10 when it turns direct at 2° Cancer.
 
October 12th, 2007 - November 2 
Mercury goes retrograde at 9° Scorpio on Friday October 12 and continues its
retrograde cycle until it goes direct on Friday November 2 at 23° Libra.

Mercury turns retrograde three times a year, as a rule, but the effects of each period 
differ, according to the sign in which it happens. A planet is described as retrograde when it appears to be moving backwards through the zodiac. This phenomenon
occurs by the planetary motion created by the earth, with relation to other planets in 
our solar system.

March 3, 2006 - March 26, 2006
Mercury begins its retrograde period at 26° Pisces and continues its backward motion
to 3° Pisces when it goes direct on the 26th of March.  July 5, 2006 to July 30,
Mercury begins this retrograde period at 1° Leo and continues its’ retrograde motion
until July 30 when it turns direct at 21° Cancer. October 29th, 2006 - November 19,
2006

 Mercury goes retrograde at 25° Scorpio on October 29 and continues its retrograde cycle until it goes direct on November 19 at 9° of Scorpio.   Mercury Retrograde Dates for 2005 

March 20, 2005 - April 12, 2005 Mercury begins its retrograde period at 14° Aries and continues its backward motion to 1° Aries when it goes direct on the 12th of April.  
July 23, 2005 to August 16, 2005

Mercury begins this retrograde period at 20° Leo on July 23 and turns direct at 8 ° Leo on August 16th. 
November 14th, 2005 - December 4, 2005 Mercury goes retrograde at 10° Sagittarius and
continues its retrograde cycle into the constellation of Scorpio. It goes direct on
December 4 at 24 ° of Scorpio. 

Mercury Retrograde Dates for 2004
December 27, 2003 - January 6, 2004 Mercury begins its retro-grade period at 12°
Capricorn and continues its backward motion into Sagittarius and then goes direct on
January 6 at 26° Sagittarius.  Mercury begins this retrograde period at 1° of Taurus,
continues into Aries until April 30 and goes direct at 21° of Aries on April 30.
 
August 10 - September 2, 2004
Mercury goes retrograde at 8° of Virgo and continues this retrograde cycle into the
constellation of Leo and goes direct on September 2 at 25° of Leo.

November 30 - December 20, 2004
Mercury begins this retrograde period at 26° of Sagittarius and goes direct at 10° of
Sagittarius on December 20, 2004.
